To confirm the effectiveness of the theoretically grounded statements of teaching English through bilingual comparativistics at the university level at the control stage of the experiment, all the indicators of students’ mastery of English grammar were diagnosed using the following criteria: motivative level (motivation, positive students’ attitude to teaching English grammar), substantive level (the development of analytical thinking), procedural level as a level of the formation of general educational skills (to be creative, educational: orientation in English grammar rules, correct oral speech, avoiding interference). Mid-October 2022, the academic staff of the University of Latvia, the faculty of Education, Psychology and Art Sandra Kalniņa and Evija Latkovska were warmly welcomed to the University of Greifswald in Germany. It was a chance to get acquainted with the organisation of teacher education in partner universities – University of Greifswald (Germany), University of Zadar (Croatia), University of Eastern Finland (Finland), Bishop Grosseteste University (UK). The visit was organised in the framework of the DAAD project “Teaching Internationally” by the colleagues of the University of Greifswald. Special attention was paid to the organisation of internships and finding mobility windows for student exchange. The project envisages hosting a Summer school for both student teachers and the academic staff in Greifswald, 2023. Latvijas Universitātes (LU) Eiropas Studiju maģistra programmas studenti 24.aprīlī tikās ar studentiem no Stenforda universitātes Berlīnē, kas ieradušies studiju vizītē Rīgā. Stenforda universitātes studentu grupu (40 studenti) vadīja pofesors Dr. Uli Bueckner and profesore Dr. Karen Kramer. Tikšanās notika Eiropas Komisijas pārstāvniecībā Latvijā, ”ES mājā”, un tika organizēta diskusijas veidā, ko moderēja Romāns Putāns, LU zinātniskā grādā pretendents, pētnieks un Eiropas Studiju maģistra programmas absolvents. Diskusijas ietvaros tika apspriesti jautājumi, kas skar Latviju kā Eiropas Savienības dalībvalsti, kā arī citi ar izglītību un studijām Latvijā saistīti jautājumi.
