Anatoly Popov gave a two-week lecture course Condensed Matter Physics to the 3rd year students at the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics, K. Zhubanov University (Kazakhstan). During his visit, the scientific seminar was organized by the Department of Physics. The first pro-rector of the K. Zhubanov University – Kuanyshbek Shunkeyev, professors and undergraduates from the faculty of Physics took part in this seminar. The emotional well-being of students in the higher education space as a subject of the research forms is an important part of the research both in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and as well as before and after the pandemic. One of the dimensions of research is students’ emotional well-being in performance-oriented curricula. Performance-orientated curricula include the acquisition of interdisciplinary competencies that can reduce students’ subjective indicators of emotional well-being.
