Aurelija Daukšaitė-Kolpakovienė Vytautas Magnus University, Lithuania Abstract. The global pandemic that started in 2020 brought a variety of challenges in many spheres of life. Higher education was not an exception, as all classes were moved to online environments. One of the main challenges became the one of academic integrity, since students’ knowledge and skills were tested online as well. This paper will discuss a case study carried out at Vytautas Magnus University (Lithuania) in 2021 that involved Lithuanian students of English as a Foreign Language (EFL) who filled in an anonymous questionnaire with open ended and closed ended questions. The study aimed to find out if the students had cheated in any form of EFL assessment (tests, midterm tests, examinations, etc.) online during the pandemic. They were also asked to indicate

Kas ir ERASMUS? Erasmus+ studiju mobilitāte ļauj studentiem pavadīt integrētu studiju periodu kādā no programmas dalībvalstu partneraugstskolām. Eiropas valodu dienas ietvaros 2013. gada 27. un 28. septembrī Tartu Universitātē (Igaunijā) notika I Baltijas studentu konference "Tilti Baltija", kurā piedalījās studenti no Baltijas valstīm, kā arī ārpus tām. Konferences plenārsēdē uzstājās LU HZF profesors Andrejs Veisbergs. Konferencē veiksmīgi piedalījās arī HZF somugru studiju un baltu filoloģijas bakalaura studenti, kā arī maģistranti un doktoranti no vairākām Latvijas universitātēm. Ar studentu konferenci tika apzīmēta Lietuvas prezidentūra Eiropas Savienības Padomē. Par godu tam Lietuvas Republikas vēstnieks Igaunijā konferences pirmajā vakarā bija sarīkojis pieņemšanas visiem konferences dalībniekiem Tartu Universitātes Vēstures muzejā. Konferenci atbalstīja Latviešu valodas aģentūra, Lietuvas Izglītības un zinātnes ministrija uc. Konferences ietvaros, aplūkojot studentu prezentācijas, bija iespēja izpētīt Baltijas studentu plašās studiju iespējas un nozares, kuras mūsdienās ir pārstāvētas Baltijas universitātēs

Uzdrosinies_studet@lu.lv The UL is a partner in the Erasmus+ KA3 project  SIEM . This project is an important step towards making international mobility opportunities more inclusive, enabling students from all backgrounds to study, work or volunteer abroad. The mobility Division of the University of Latvia is working with incoming and outgoing mobilities taking into account the handbook  Guidelines for Inclusive Mobility Promotion  and guidelines  Inclusive Communication Manual .

This is one of the Outreach activities planned by FORTHEM, open to all FORTHEM students and NGO’s of our regions. The aim of this call is that FORTHEM student teams promote and manage volunteering and education projects for development, solidarity and awareness in collaboration with NGOs or other local associations. These projects should have a clear European added value by addressing priorities identified at European level according to the Sustainable Development Goals adopted by all UN member states . The 2030 Agenda provides a shared vision of a sustainable future free of hunger, inequality and poverty based on the principles of inclusion, solidarity and active citizenship and we are sure the students have novel and creative ideas to encounter some of these wicked problems. From April 21 to 25, 2025, the Faculty of Education Sciences and Psychology of the University of Latvia welcomed Dr. Óscar Raul Lozano Lucia from the University of Valencia(Universitat de València), Spain. During the Erasmus+ staff mobility programme, Dr. Lozano Lucia met with students of the Professional Bachelor Study Programme “Teacher.” The students were introduced to the Spanish education system and current trends in teacher education. A surprising discovery for the professor was that so many students in the programme were already working in educational institutions during their first or second year of studies—something that would be unimaginable and impermissible in Spain. In Spain, it is not possible for a student without a pedagogical qualification to work as a teacher in a public school. However, they may act as interns, assistants, or support staff in a private or international school. To work as a teacher in Spain, one must meet specific educational, linguistic

The alliance universities plan to increase mobility of students and all university staff by removing barriers to mobility, fostering motivation, accelerating internationalisation at home by virtual mobility , setting up new innovative mobility forms and harmonising the internal regulations and structures. Special emphasis is paid to raising the mobility numbers of under-represented and disadvantaged groups. Our goal is to enable each student and staff member to choose the possibility that best suits their mobility needs. Increase student and staff mobility Phase 1: attain 30% in student mobility by 2022. Phase 2: increase student and staff mobility (physical, virtual and blended mobility all included) within and beyond the alliance to involve 50 % of students and staff by 2025. Set up new innovative student mobility forms 20 individual short-term mobility activities per year related to research ( Bachelor , Master and PhD theses). 10 collective short-term mobility
