No 22. līdz 28. aprīlim Latvijas Universitātē (LU) notiks pasākums vidusskolēniem “Studenta kurpēs”. Skolēni aicināti gūt priekšstatu par savām nākotnes studijām, mācību vidi un infrastruktūru, vienu dienu iejūtoties LU studenta lomā lekcijās, semināros un praktiskajās nodarbībās. Pasākums “Studenta kurpēs” LU notiek katru semestri un ir kļuvis par vienu no Universitātes populārākajām tradīcijām jau teju 15 gadu garumā. Ik gadus iespēju iejusties studenta ādā izmanto vairāk nekā divi tūkstoši Latvijas skolēnu. Pasākumā pieprasītāko studiju programmu TOP augšgalā pēdējos gados ierindojas “Ārstniecība”, “Tiesību zinātne” un “Psiholoģija”. “Studenta kurpēs” pagājušā gada rudenī piedalījās vairāk nekā 1100 skolēnu, kurus uzņēma vairāk nekā 350 LU studenti. Kopumā visvairāk skolēnu vēlējās viesoties LU Izglītības zinātņu un psiholoģijas fakultātē. You can already find new courses and activities that will enrich your curricula. From now on, FORTHEM partner universities can share their courses and activities via the Digital Academy; moreover, all students can freely enrol in most of the activities! At the moment, massive open online courses (MOOCs) on wine shared by the University of Burgundy, as well as a German language course shared by the University of Palermo are available, among many others. Therefore, all stages of education, including higher education, are important in the development of civic transversal competence. To ensure sustainable, qualitative, modern, and competitive higher education, the education facilitating the productive involvement of students in civil society and, consequently, their competitiveness in the labour market is atopical issue in the context of Latvia too. In keeping with this rationale, in January 2020, the University of Latvia started the implementation of the first round

and exchanges (e.g. Erasmus program, Europa Master Studies), funds them with scholarships, gives them the opportunity to pursue their passions in student government, clubs, in the fields of science, culture, entertainment and sport. An extensive list of nearly 80 fields of study offered by the University of Opole guarantees comprehensive and thorough education.
