LU students' day 2024 will take place on September 12

On September 12th, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, in rooms 103, 104, and 105 of the University of Latvia House of Science, every UL student will have the opportunity to visit various stands of UL units (Sports Center, Cultural Center, Student Council, Career Center, Business Incubator, UL Ambassadors, Mobility Department, UL Library, UL Museum, Radio Naba). You will be able to find out the offer, ask questions of interest to yourself, and participate in various activities. 

Right there on the first floor, room 106 of the UL House of Science, lecturers, students, and various experts will share valuable suggestions that will be helpful in starting their studies at UL. On the room 208 there will be an opportunity to gain knowledge of LUIS and E-studies and how to use them. 

All international students are also invited. Presentations in English will take place in room 501. Experts will share information on receiving state scholarships, and various departments of UL will present their offerings. 

In the auditorium “Alfa” students will have the opportunity to attend presentations of several UL units, which will be held in Latvian, about their offers, learn what the mentoring program is, as well as participate in various quizzes. Both Latvian and international students will be delighted with performances by UL choirs and latest music groups, as “Dziļi vienalga” and “Ekosistēma”. 

We also invite everyone to participate in the orientation competition around the House of Sciences of the University of Latvia to get to know the study environment better, meet new people, and win the title of champion.  

Throughout the day, students from the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors are also invited to visit over 50 company stands and learn about their career opportunities after studies.
