Seminar will be held at the University of Latvia, Raina blvd., 9-12 June 2010.

The main aim of the research seminar is to rethink historical and contemporary images of Russia and Europe and the ways in which their construction, circulation, perception and stereotypization have had an impact upon the relations between Europe, European Union and Russia as well as on the construction of identities.  Topics: Russia and Europe – values, stereotypes, prejudices, identities
