Students from Latvia went to Tallinn Estonia first where they could spend some time exploring the city. Afterwards students had free time in the beautiful medieval Estonian capital - Tallinn. Erasmus group also visited Keila waterfall before coming back to Riga. “Even we all were tired, and we should walk way through muddy road, waterfall surprised us with its interesting color – water was almost brown. It was really worth to see it,” says Sanda.
Sea Battle is organized by ESN – Sweden and trips with activities are offered for Erasmus students every autumn and spring.
“I really liked how the Sea battle brought so many people from all over the world together as one. It was almost like everyone was stranded on a deserted island, we all were friends,” says David, visiting student from USA, Utah State.
Ferry Baltic Queen took Erasmus students from Tallinn to Stockholm. Several activities were taking place on the board. For example, students were playing “Crazy games” and “Speed dating” in Starlight palace. “Speed dating” was advertised to “find your true love” as it was said by this activity’s organizers on the ferry. Sanda, ESN – Riga coordinator says that “maybe true love wasn’t found, who knows, but at least we spent a good time together.” “I think it made it a lot easier for me to meet people, and it was a good way to have fun,” says David.
Students were entertained with live music performances by Folke Westside and Highride, karaoke, and salsa lessons on the ferry.
