“Mikrotikls” Ltd. Offers Funding of Half A Million Euros for UL Natural Sciences and Medicine Projects

At the end of last year, the computer network equipment manufacturer “Mikrotikls” Ltd. donated 500 000 EUR for natural sciences and medicine projects at the University of Latvia. The students and academic staff of the University are invited to apply for funding for projects in the specified areas.

“Mikrotikls” Ltd. has supported the University of Latvia before. In 2011, the company donated two multifunctional router stations to the UL Faculty of Computing which students use within the course “Computer Networks Administration” and for various research on networking protocols.
