Registering and reregistering in the Library of the University of Latvia

To use the Library services you have to be registered in Library. Registering of the first course students will be started on 9th of September.
To register is needed:
For the students of the University of Latvia – valid student card
For the staff of the University of Latvia – valid staff card or reading card of national importance Libraries.
Others - student’s card of other universities, reading card of national importance, or person ID card.
To register you have to visit central building of the Library of the University of Latvia or any other branch library.
While registering you have to read Library regulations and with signature approve to be aware of them.
After registration user will get ID number and password to use union catalogue to request, reserve, and prolong due date of borrowed items.
Reregistering for students are requested each academic year, but for other users every calendar year.
To reregister you have to visit central building of the Library of the University of Latvia or any other branch library.

Starting with September the Library of the University of Latvia offers user training system for students, and staff of the University of Latvia. For everyone it is possible to apply to user training that best matches to research and study interests, whether in central building of the Library, Kalpaka boulvd. 4 or in the other buildings of the University of Latvia.
