Photo competition "My University of Latvia"

Dear full-time degree students and exchange students!   This year, on September, the University of Latvia celebrates the 90th anniversary. Due to this significant event the UL organizes several undertakings during the whole year and one of them is to focus on foreign students and their daily life at the UL.

You are welcome to participate in the photo competition „My University of Latvia” which is organized within the framework of the 90th anniversary of the University of Latvia.

Format
• Each participant can hand in 1 – 3 photos in JPG format. Digital photos should be taken with at least 5 Mpix camera.

Submission
• Please send the photos via e-mail to info@lu.lv , in the Subject write “Photo competition” or hand in (photo saved in CD-ROM) at the Public Relations Department in Raina Blvd. 19, room 127.

Requirements
• Please add your name, surname and e-mail address to the photo.
• Photos should correspond to moral norms.
• The participant confirms that she/he does not object to publishing her/his photo in the website www.lu.lv and using them in the informative materials of the UL, and also confirms that the submitted photos are taken by her/him.

Deadline
• Submission deadline April 26th , 2009.

The authors of the best photos will be announced on May 11, 2009 at the UL homepage www.lu.lv. The best authors will be awarded with souvenirs of the University of Latvia.

Exhibition
The best works will be displayed in the entrance hall of the main building of the UL (Raina Blvd. 19).
