Visiting day of the 5th World Congress of Latvian Scientists

The University of Latvia invites scientists and researchers to visit the largest and leading university of Latvia and gain an insight into the various research fields, where the university has gained remarkable achievements.

On 27 June, on the first day of the 5^th World Congress of Latvian Scientists, the participants are invited to visit Latvian research organizations. At 11:00, the University of Latvia also opens its doors to visitors, offering an opportunity to get to know the University of Latvia Academic Centre, take a look at the laboratories and participate in discussions with scientists.

The visit will open with a coffee and informal address by Rector Indriķis Muižnieks, and then the scientists and researchers will be invited to join a tour of the Academic Centre.  Subsequently, there will be an opportunity to visit laboratories and auditoriums, where scientists from various fields will welcome the visitors.
