Aim of the study program - to provide students with the opportunity to study, analyze and develop the beneficial aspects of sport and physical activity - physical, mental, emotional and social, which improve the health and quality of life for all individuals, from children and young people to seniors, from patients with serious pathologies to professional high achievements, sports athletes, thus contributing to the growth of the intellectual potential of academically educated specialists, and promoting research-based interdisciplinary knowledge transfer to the themes of contemporary sports science.
Tasks of the study program:
1. To prepare students for academic careers in sports and exercise research centres, in the health education, public health and health management institutions, sports agencies and associations, sports federations, sports medicine centres, medical rehabilitation centres, sports universities.
2. To provide graduates with the academic experience necessary for their further Professional activities in research institutions and the development of business.
To ensure the continuity of the development of sports science by providing graduates with prior knowledge for imatriculation in sports science, natural sciences, social sciences or other related doctoral study programs.
Career opportunities
Graduates can work in sports and exercise science and sports medicine research and medical centres, in the health education, public health and health management institutions; sport agencies and associations; sports federations; sports medical rehabilitation centres; sports universities. As qualified specialists, to work in cooperation with experts in other fields: food technologists (creation of new functional food products), with engineers (new measuring devices) with specialists in computing science (acquired sensors, computer programmes, training methods, including load modeling and simulation devices, virtual reality), etc.

Admission requirements
- Academic Bachelor in Natural Sciences, Computer Science or Bachelor of Social Sciences in Psychology, as well as equivalent higher education;
- Academic or professional Bachelor’s degree in sports science or sports pedagogy; Professional medical doctor degree or Bachelor's degree in health care
- The average grade in study courses must be 60% of the maximum.
- English language proficiency.
- All grades must be passing (at least 4 on a 10-point scale).
Enrollment criteria
Entrance examinations will consist of Oral Interviews during which the applicant's motivation, previous achievements are tested
As a part of the admission process applicants will be asked to participate in an online interview.
