Officially certified copies of the documents must be presented in original language and in English.

RESIDENCE PERMIT
Documents for temporary residence permit have to be submitted:
- Personally in the Embassy of Latvia in Azerbaijan, or

The copies of the General Certificates of Education results must be notarized or verified by the Cameroon General Certificate of Education Board).
Copies of the documents must be verified either by the Office du Baccalauréat du Cameroun or by the notary.

- Diploma (issued by State Board of Technical Education, if it’s been 3 year study programme) + mark sheet.
- All applicants who has graduated from 2016 and Secondary education diploma is issued by Central Board of Secondary Education have to provide Admission card, without that your application cannot proceed.
When applying for Master’s programme, applicants have to present one of the following documents:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Bachelor of Arts/Science (General) – comparable only to 2 years of University Education in Latvia. For this applicants also needs to have Master of Arts/Science
- Bachelor’s degree with specialization or 4 years Bachelor’s degree is comparable as finished University Education in Latvia.
- Academic transcript
Officially certified copies of the documents must be presented in original language and in English;
University of Latvia accepts applications only with 1st and 2nd Class/Division diplomas.
It is recommended to submit all education documents for more qualitative recognition of education.
The University of Latvia does not accept education documents from informal education institutions and further education/continuing education institutions.

Documents must be certified by the HEC (Higher Education Commission of Pakistan) and IBCC label, which certifies authenticity.
If bachelor’s diploma doesn’t have statuss „Honours”, then it’s only valid as 2-year Bachelor’s in Latvia and with this diploma applicant can’t apply for Master’s degree studies.

Health insurance
The University of Latvia has an agreement with insurance company ERGO. You can get health insurance from this company for one year. It costs 161.40 EUR. Price includes discounts and free doctor appointments. Health insurance is obligatory for process of obtaining a residence permit. More information will be given by study advisor if applicant is interested in this offer.

Graduates until 2009 (including 2009) have to present ÖSS exam results (Öğrenci Seçme Sınavı), students who graduated after 2009 have to present two exam results YGS (Yükseköğretime Geçiş Sınavı) and LYS (Lisans Yerleştirme Sınavları).
Exam results (ÖSS, YGS, LYS) does not have to be verified by the ÖSYM only in terms that the presented document provides information about the applicants code (Sonuç Belgesi Kontrol Kodu)
