Thesaurus Linguae Latgalicae

Tasks:

• check which materials are available
• publish materials that are accessible in electronic form
• scan, recognize and proofread printed materials
• publish lexical data on the Internet in MS Word format, creating a bank of data — Thesaurus Linguae Latgalicae (in Latgalian: Latgalīšu vuordu skreine)
• create an electronic database
• transfer materials from MS Word files to the database (preserving information about the source of every entry)
• discover potential sources of Latgalian vocabulary, collect words and prepare electronic versions of the sources (e.g. Mühlenbach-Endzelins' dictionary and its supplements, vernacular descriptions from the periodical „Filologu biedrības raksti“, etc.)
