Institute of Telecommunications (RTU TI) is an academic and research structure at the Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications. RTU TI offers bachelor, master and doctoral study programmes in electrical engineering as well as wide range of services for telecommunication operators, ranging from project design to installation and network analysis. The research staff is dealing with scientific and applied projects for a development of the next generation fibre optic transmission systems, ICT systems, fibre optical sensor solutions, smart city solutions, new range of optical elements and traffic control algorithms, etc.
