ABOUT THE UL VOLLEYBALL LEAGUE
Starting a new year of study, the Latvian University will start the volleyball Championship – UL volleyball League. The UL volleyball League is an internal Latvian university volleyball league, where teams of UL students, teachers and administration compete.
The University of Latvia volleyball League is a unique in-university 4xd4 volleyball championship not only on the Latvian volleyball scale, but also in the Baltics and throughout Europe. There aren't many universities in Europe that can boast such an internal tournament.
During their studies, the UL volleyball League offers to participate in an internal 4x4 volleyball competition, in which every student of the University of Latvia can create a team or apply for a team. The tournament also promotes the participation of students in University of Latvia and Latvian volleyball, identification in the volleyball environment, interest in Latvian volleyball processes.
the league will be organized in 4x4 volleyball format in the 2024/2020 school year. Up to 10 players can be logged into the team, but up to 6 per game can be logged in.
You can apply for the UL volleyball league in 2 ways – create your own team with friends or study mates, or join an existing team.
All tournament matches will take place on Mondays and Wednesdays, from noon 20.00 to 22.00, UL at Riga medical College 1, Thomson Street 37.
During the tournament, there is an opportunity to keep track of each player's statistics on the volleyball League site. The league's best player is rewarded at the end of each month, along with each team's most talented players being invited to the star game mid-season.

Team applications for participation in the LUVL 2024/2020 season must be submitted by 27 September 2024 at 23.59 by electronic transmission of the application to the kalvis.kazaks@lu.lv
