CONFERENCEThe purpose of the Sports Center Council of the University of Latvia (LU) is to develop sports culture, strengthen a sporty and healthy spirit among both students and employees, as well as in the entire society, to provide students and employees with the necessary support and infrastructure for sports.
The main tasks of the Council are:
To provide strategic recommendations for the development of the sports industry at the University of Lugano;
To plan and develop the sports infrastructure of the university;
Promote the integration of sports science and technology in the sports process;
Support the physical activities of students and employees by offering a wide and diverse range of sports events;
To strengthen LU as a center of excellence in sports and sports science.
The council consists of representatives of the management of the University of Warsaw, employees of the University of Warsaw and experts from the sports industry, who work together to create a modern and active sports environment at the university. This work helps to realize the goal of the University of Latvia to create a healthy and athletically active academic community.
