Participants will gather in the parking lot of the "Sigulda" hotel in Sigulda, Pils Street 6, starting at 11:00 a.m., and the hike is scheduled to start at 11:15 a.m. You can take the train to the event, with the train arriving at Sigulda station from Riga at 10:56 a.m. From the "Sigulda" railway station to the "Sigulda" hotel, it is a 200-meter walk along Pils Street. Participants arriving by car can park in the hotel's parking lot.
The hike route will lead you along Lakstīgala ravine, Kaķīškalns, Velnalas, Balonu meadow, and other beautiful natural sights.
The finish of the hike is planned at the "Sigulda" hotel. The event will take place until approximately 4:00 p.m. The train to Riga departs from Sigulda station at 4:10 p.m.
The total length of the hike will be approximately 14 kilometers. Participants should bring appropriate footwear and clothing for the weather.
You can sign up for the event by filling out the electronic application form until 11:59 p.m. on October 27, 2023.
