Academic CentreIt will be a great opportunity for members of the course and simply good friends studying at the University of Latvia to participate in an interesting and exciting sporting event. Teams of 3 to 5 University of Latvia students may be applied for the event.
As part of the event, the main goal of the teams is to get to know Riga's old city, have a good time and enjoy the spirit of the competition. The main task of the event is to find all the checkpoints on the map as quickly as possible with your team-mates after photos and coordinates, where you need to take a photo together. At the same time, teams will have the opportunity to test their knowledge for which there will be an opportunity to score extra points by elevating their team's chances of winning.
The event is designed to be interesting for all participants – battle for victory will be an opportunity both for those who will be able to find all checkpoints faster and also for those who will be able to answer different questions more correctly about Latvia, Riga, University of Latvia sports, LU student Council, etc.
The team with the most points will be rewarded with the Cup. The three teams with the highest score will be rewarded with prizes from LU.
Participants have a single starting place, outside the main building of the University of Latvia, Rainis Boulevard 19. The team that starts first will be given the start at 17.00. The other teams will start consecutively, at 2 minute intervals. An accurate list of start times will be available to teams after the event registration has ended.
Application for the event may be completed by the electronic application questionnaire by 14 February 2023 at noon. 11.59.
