What is a Course Attendee? A Course Attendee registers for one or several study courses, receiving a Certificate after successful completition confirming the study results in the specific course. If you are interested in taking some courses from the UL study offer, you can register as a Course Attendee. The Course attendee is only required to have been reached the Secondary education level, which gives access to higher education. Please note – the University of Latvia is not arranging visas or residence permits to Course Attendees. Therefore only EU/EEA/Swiss citizens and EU temporary (valid for the study period) or permanent residence permit holders are allowed to take courses as Course Attendees. How to apply? Pre-clinical theory section provides insight into the basic principles of Ayurveda, its history and philosophy. The course reveals the importance of understanding Sanskrit and Vedic thinking in Ayurvedic practice. Assignments of the course: To understand the structure of Ayurveda as a medical system, its historical basis and development, and the potential and possibilities of its practical application in modern human life.

One of the results of the activity of the Latvian Quantum Initiative is the prepared specialists who know the technologies of the future and, therefore, using all their competences and opportunities. The partners of the initiative are involved in the creation of quantum technology studies and the improvement of existing study programmes. As a part of the initiative, four study modules are being developed. They are being implemented at the University of Latvia (UL) and Riga Technical University (RTU) . The modules are intended for students of different study levels– bachelors, masters, doctors and also students of continuing education programmes. Each module consists of an offer of content-matched courses according to the chosen study level. The modules are included within the UL and RTU study programmes (Computer Science, Physics, Telecommunications, etc.) and each of these modules highlights the application of quantum technologies in the corresponding programme.
