for the participation in the programme: The selection of students for Erasmus+ mobility programme takes place twice a year at the Faculty of Humanities. All bachelor, master and PhD students are eligible for Eramsus+ mobility programme, if they: acquired 40 credit points (two semesters), have no study debts, are not on a study break. Conference proceedings “Language: Meaning and Form” are published by the Department of Latvian and General Linguistics, Faculty of Humanities, University of Latvia. Conference proceedings are published annually and cover a wide range of topics and approaches within current Latvian and general linguistics, including but not limited to grammar, pragmatics, semantics, cognitive linguistics and linguistic research methodology. The main aim of the proceedings is to bring together in one volume the various research results and theoretical developments that are presented each year at the international conferences and workshops organised by the Department of Latvian and General Linguistics of the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Latvia. The study course is designed as a think tank, with the aim to provide the participants with the opportunity to create a research environment and to develop a research project in cooperation with lecturers and social partners. The scaffolding process will allow students from various disciplines of education to become aware of the possibilities of integrating different research designs into educational research and to delve into the essence of evaluation and participatory action research designs. It will allow doctoral students to assess their current vision of educational problems and to identify ways to transform education considering the principles of sustainability, as well as to develop skills in conducting action research and/or evaluation research to address a complex topical educational issue. The course focuses on establishing and developing students’ understanding of transdisciplinarity, complexity, and sustainable education, as well as their interaction in the Anthropocene

The International Physics Olympiad ( IPhO ) has been organised since 1967. The first Olympiad was held in Warsaw, Poland. The IPhO offers students the opportunity to compete by demonstrating a broad knowledge of physics, problem-solving and analysis skills, creativity and practical experimental skills. Latvia has been represented at the International Physics Olympiad since 1996.
