The objective is to introduce the students with bifocal and multi focal lenses optical and physical basis, and use these lenses in presbyopia correction. The course give knowledges about optical basis of anisometropia and aniseikonia, about ophthalmic lens magnifications calculations, and methods of aniseikonia problems reduction. In last part of course students study of contact lens applications. Their study methods of ametropia correction by hard gas-permeable and soft contact lenses.

The study course aims to promote communication skills for future design professionals by introducing social-psychological relationships and promoting observation, listening, research and co-thinking capabilities in their future contact with customers, users and other stakeholders. Study tasks: presenting the results of various social psychology studies that explain the situations of an appropriate contact in professional and personal life. To describe the mechanisms, characteristics and degrees of effectiveness of people's mutual perception and interaction, to encourage the development of collaborative, dialogue-building, leadership and reflection skills in contact. Promote active listening skills – a process based on customer, user, and audience needs. Gain insight into the causes of conflict situations, develop their resolution and mediation skills. To make it possible to better familiarise themselves with their existing communication skills and recognise the absence of development
