The MBA study programme "International Business (with Specialization in Export Management)" is designed to meet the requirements of a businessperson on a global scale and to address managerial issues that are relevant to implementation of trade across the national boundaries necessary for a successful adaptation and competition in the global market. The program concentrates on the more detailed aspects of international marketing, management and finance.Study language is English. Students have a unique opportunity to receive a second diploma by studying in France, at the University Paris-Est-Créteil. They have a prospect to study in an international environment, where guest lecturers with eminent international business experience are involved in teaching.

Chemist is a highly sought-after profession and it is an occupation for life! Graduates of the programme receive a diploma recognized in Europe, confirmed by the quality label “Eurobachelor in Chemistry” awarded by the European Chemistry Thematic Network Association (ECTNA). In the second year, students can prove themselves and apply their knowledge by participating in research groups of faculty or institutes, acquiring the skills required in future employment: organic synthesis, modern instrumental analysis, food chemistry, etc. Immediately after studies, a chemist can start working and/or continue studies to obtain a master's degree at the University of Latvia or abroad.

The Alexander S. Onassis Public Benefit Foundation was established in December 1975,in accordance with Aristotle Onassis’ (1906–1975) wish to honour the memory of his late son Alexander. The foundation supports cultural, educational, environmental, health-related and social solidarity projects. The foundation’s activities promote the humanistic ideals of the Hellenic civilization. In May 2005, Dean emer. Ivars Gaide and Rev. Dr. Anita Gaide from Canada arranged a course of lectures at the UL Faculty of Theology, enabling students gain an insight into the Western world outlook and engage in international processes. The lectures were delivered by Prof. Taivāns from the University of Toronto. Support In 2011, the patrons supported the scholarship "Ceļamaize"(“Bread for the journey”) by donating EUR 603. They donated privately toward restoration of the organ at the UL Big Hall in 2013 and 2014 (in memory of Ilmārs Zilāns). We greatly appreciate the generous support to education and development!
