. Requirements for the participation in the programme: The selection of students for Erasmus+ mobility programme takes place twice a year at the Faculty of Humanities. All bachelor, master and PhD students are eligible for Eramsus+ mobility programme, if they: acquired 40 credit points (two semesters), have no study debts, are not on a study break. In order to apply for Erasmus+ mobility, a student of the Faculty of Humanities should: Choose one of the partner institutions of the Faculty of Humanities. The International Physics Olympiad ( IPhO ) has been organised since 1967. The first Olympiad was held in Warsaw, Poland. The IPhO offers students the opportunity to compete by demonstrating a broad knowledge of physics, problem-solving and analysis skills, creativity and practical experimental skills. Latvia has been represented at the International Physics Olympiad since 1996. The aim of this course is to gain an in-depth understanding of aspects related to theory and practice in civil procedure. The focus will mostly be on timely issues related to improvements in this procedure. Students will also learn how to study civil procedure norms in depth. The issues will be discussed in the context of relevant regulations in other European countries. There will also be analysis of judicature materials, as well as the views which have been expressed by experts on specific aspects of civil procedure.

Students’ Council of the University of Latvia (LU SP) in Science affairs works with the goal to bring attention to scientific opportunities and to support students-researchers in their scientific activity. The main measures to be implemented for the development of science are: science extracurriculars, that allow anyone to step into the shoes of a researcher for one day at some scientific structural unit of UL; science developing events, such as hackathons; informing students of highlights and opportunities in science.
