Radiation Safety for Equipments Producing Large Dose Rate Radiation
Course (continue)
measures and audiences are introduced to the requirements of the regulatory enactments regarding radiation safety and the protection of the health of workers. The course focuses on the basic principles of operation, the basic principles of operation, the basic radiation safety requirements and the understanding of the hazards and risks of control equipment - scanners, large-sized (wagon, vehicle) baggage tracing equipment based on generating braking radiation. Practical lessons are based on working with JS instruments, the basics of radiation background and JS source dose measurement methodology, as well as practical skills for measuring radiation dose, working time and protection calculations. Equipment demonstration (for example, scanners on the state border). Courses groups are arranged, taking into account the specifics of listeners' work - adapting the content of lectures and classes to a specific field of activity, paying attention to the JS source used by a particular student
