Aim - as a result of the educational process to actualize and improve the learners' abilities to cooperate, organize and manage team work. Tasks - to supplement the students' theoretical knowledge and skills related to the organization of team work, cooperation and communication, problem solving and decision-making, including working in the digital environment, in the process of acquiring the subject program.

The course aims to develop the communicative competence required in order to communicate with international students in an academic context. To achieve this aim, grammar and functional lexis, including academic lexis of the English language is acquired, and all for communication skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) are advanced within the framework of the intermediate language proficiency level.

The course of the aim is to form students’ understanding about the general views of teaching mathematics in elementary school emphasizing the modern aspects in the regularities of organizing the teaching/learning process: planning towards the learning outcomes, assessment of pupils’ achievements, the skills to choose the most corresponding teaching/learning methods and forms for achieving the outcomes.

The course provides basic knowledge of Swedish language at the level of beginners in conversation and writing. Particular attention is paid to presentation phrases, to description of daily activities and learning process, and use of cardinal numerals as well. In the Grammar students learn the present form of verbs, personal pronouns, the formation of indefinite and definite form of nouns as well.

The aim of the course is to educate the mentors of various school subjects to provide the qualitative teaching practice for student-teachers, introduce the novice teachers to school's life and support peers in the improvement of their professional competence, as well as give a chance to the would-be mentors to share their pedagogical conviction, attitude and personal experience of learning, teaching and mentor's work.

Internship is an important part of the studying process for the acquisition of a professional Master's degree. It fosters preparation of a qualified and creative manager capable of working professionally. Internship II is a part of the complete amount of internship. Its aim is to fortify the obtained theoretical knowledge. Tasks: 1) to gain an impression of a specific entrepreneurship type related to international business by understanding the work specifics and professional belonging; 2) to see enterprise's development possibilities within international business; 3) research certain enterprise's activity aspects, its field and experience in forming international business. Internship is realized in Latvian and English

The aim of the study course is to improve the level of understanding within bachelor study programme students in field of weather formation and forecasting processes, influencing factors. Tasks includes improvement of analytical skills, acquiring practice in work with open access methods of weather forecasting (satellite information, radiosounding, numerical forecast models). The study course is in latvian language.

The objective of the course is to introduce students to theory and practical knowledge of time management techniques, which will help them to manage their daily tasks related with studies, carrier development etc. to reach their aims and priorities. The course is aimed for all who are interested in improving their time management skills and be more successful in dealing with different tasks at the same time.
