The Faculty of Business, Management and Economics is the largest faculty of the University of Latvia; we offer studies and scientific research in the field of economics, management and public administration, which correspond to the contemporary needs of Latvia, EU and other countries. Faculty was established in 1919, after foundation of the University of Latvia. During years with several reorganizations in 1997 faculty was named as the Faculty of Economics and management. In 2017 in order to show wide range of offered study programmes and fields, faculty was renamed as the Faculty of Business, Management and Economics. Now faculty offers 5programs taught completely in English to applicants from all over the world. Study groups are mixed with full time students and international incoming exchange students, so to provide worldwide intercultural perspective and experience to our students.
About a year and a half ago, the first seminar was organized where doctoral students and degree applicants talked about the progress and plans of developing their theses. We plan to repeat this procedure again and make it an annual tradition. A discussion with degree applicants was already held; during it, those present were introduced to the procedure for submitting and defending a doctoral thesis at the FMOF UL, Physics Department. Now we plan to move further and let the 1st year doctoral students, who are just starting their doctoral studies, talk about their plans, while the next seminars will be attended by 2nd and 3rd year doctoral students. 1. get to know internet business models and strategies,
2. to understand methods and techniques of system environment analysis,
3. to master the work organization and methods of Internet systems development project,
4. to understand the organization of system's implementation, testing, deployment and maintenance.
Language of instruction: Latvian.

The fee for submitting an article includes the organizational processes of submitting, processing and evaluating the article, as well as commission fees for transfers made in the conference system. In case of rejection of the article, the contribution made, which covers the aforementioned costs, will not be returned to the author. Paper presentation Participation in the Faculty of Education, Psychology and Art conference sections with a paper presentation is free of charge .
