Sub-programme: EU relations with Eastern Europe and Russia
Sub-programme with specialization on EU relations with Eastern Europe and Russia aims to provide in-depth knowledge about European Union as a global player in international relations as well as to develop students' skills needed for cooperation and management of negotiations with the EU's Eastern Partnership countries (Ukraine, Georgia, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Armenia and Moldova). EU Eastern Partnership is one of the main priorities of Latvian Presidency of the EU Council in the first half of 2015. Both the EU institutions and the public and private institutions of EU member states as well as EU partner countries currently needs and will need highly skilled professionals and experts with a strong knowledge about the role of the EU and the impact of socio-economic and legal processes with the EU Eastern Partnership countries and Russia.
