The AI for Good Innovation Factory is coming to Riga, Latvia, on December 6th 2024!

The AI for Good Innovation Factory is a global start-up competition aimed to find the most promising AI solutions to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The National AI and Cybersecurity Information Sharing and Analysis Standards Organization (NAIC-ISAO), a task force of the Tortora Brayda Institute, together with the regional partner theIntelligent VC will host the very first AI for Good Innovation Factory Baltics.

This contest aims to raise awareness of the SDGs and demonstrate how AI technology can support the UN's objectives, featuring start-ups from Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia. The event will be hosted both virtually and in person at a location to be confirmed later this year.

The winner of the AI for Good Innovation Factory Baltics will join the Innovation Factory Grand Finale in Geneva, Switzerland, in June 2025.

The AI for Good Innovation Factory provides a platform for startups to grow and scale their AI-powered solutions. It offers participants business matchmaking, mentoring, fundraising opportunities, and global exposure, helping them bring their innovations to a larger audience. To participate, startups need to follow a simple process:

  1. Determine which SDGs their AI solution targets.
  2. Complete a simple online form with details about the solution.
  3. Participate in a video call with organizers to discuss the idea and ask any relevant questions.
  4. Provide a PowerPoint or a 4-minute video about the solution.
