Partners from University of Valencia (Spain), Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz (Germany), University of Jyväskylä (Finland), University of Burgundy (France) and University of Opole (Poland) participated on site. Colleagues from Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu (Romania), University of Palermo (Italy) and University of Agder (Norway) joined the staff week online.
The bachelor level program of European Degree for Languages, Cultures and Communication (EDLCC) is a unique project with the aim of giving students the opportunity to learn three European languages and culture by participating in several mobilities, at the end of which they will receive a European degree and an internationally recognized joint diploma.
On the working group's agenda were questions about the current state of the EDLCC proposal. Partners gave proposals of EDLCC study plan and modules, discussed the agreement on EDLCC, looked at the questions about the multilingualism map, EDLCC mobility and funding, EDLCC recognition, grading scales, diplomas and other administrative issues.
The participants of the event were introduced to the UL historical building and the new Academic Centre. They also visited Old Riga and Jūrmala city.
