In order to provide support and express solidarity with the Ukrainian people, a concert “For a Free Ukraine” will be held at the University of Latvia (UL) on March 11.
The concert will take place in Aula Magna of the main building of the University of Latvia at 19:00. The concert "For Free Ukraine" will comprise the most beautiful power songs performed by the UL choirs, soloists and wind orchestra. At the organ – Roberts Hansons, concertmaster – Ilze Dzērve, concert host – Kaspars Bērziņš.

- female choir “Minjona”, artistic director Romāns Vanags;
- female choir “Latve”, artistic director Ilze Feldmane;

- Presidium Convent Male Choir, artistic director Lorija Cinkusa;
- mixed choir “Aura”, artistic director Edgars Vītols;
- mixed choir “Jubilate”, artistic director Juris Kļaviņš;
- mixed choir “Juventus”, artistic director Valdis Tomsons;
- chamber choir “DeCoro”, artistic director Kristiāna Vaickovska;
- mixed choir “Dziesmuvara”, artistic director Nora Žeigure.
The concert can be attended person, and live broadcast will also be provided via the UL Facebook account and on the website. Starting from March 8, it will be possible to donate to support UL partner universities in Ukraine and Ukrainian students who are studying at the University of Latvia.

Due to the limited number of seats in Aula Magna, the concert attendance is by invitation only. The invitations will be available from 7 March to 10 March from 9:00 to 17:00, at Raiņa bulvāris 19, room 125.
The concert will be held in “green safety mode”.
