The topics of this year's conference are Speculative (Critical) and Social Design.
The design industry has become interdisciplinary and is related to new theories, technologies, systems and societal needs. Conference participants from Latvia, Great Britain, Germany, Australia, Russia and other countries will discuss the perspectives of human-friendly urban development, the role of technologies in new economic, service and communication models and relations between the individual and power in a cultural, social and environmental context.
The aim of the conference is to promote the development of interdisciplinary research, exchange of experience and networking.
