On October 18, the University of Latvia will host its Career Opportunity Day for the 13th time, gathering approximately 50 companies representing different spheres. The exhibition welcomes students and everyone looking for new contacts, jobs and internships.
Career Opportunity Day is an annual exhibition of enterprises, where companies share their offers of work, internship, collaboration, various activities and lectures with students and everyone interested in career building. The exhibition provides an opportunity to personally address the companies you are interested in, to get to know their representatives, inquire about career and internship opportunities, company culture, required competencies, skills and job specifics.
The Career Opportunity Day will take place on October 18 at the UL main building, Raiņa bulvāris 19 and the Academic Centre, House of Science at Jelgavas iela 3 from 10:00 to 16:00.
Those interested are welcome to attend two lectures presented by companies at the UL main building:
- 10:30 “21 Jobs of the Future”, Aleksandrs Radcenko, COGNIZANT (lecture in English)
- 11:00 “Valuable Recommendations for Job Candidates in the Selection Process” (lecture in Latvian), Sandra Vilsone, BDO

The Career Opportunity Day is organized by the UL Career Centre, the entry is free of charge. Please, be advised that photography and filming will take place at the event. The resulting photo and video material can be used for publications on social media.
