Auditorium B1 Teacher education Spring Universities are international educational seminars - conferences organized in the Baltic States for promoting the integration of teacher educators and researchers in these countries with the European educational associations, first of all with the Association for teacher education in Europe (ATEE), and they are run under the auspices of this association. Teacher education Spring University has been located in the Baltic, first in Klaipeda, in 1997. Since then the conference has expanded its geography becoming a truly international affair with about 15 to 20 countries represented each year. In 2010 it will be hosted by the University of Latvia, and will take place in Riga. The organizers invite teacher educators, teachers, and researchers from any country to make their contribution to this conference by introducing their current research findings in the sessions of the conference.
