European Commission has approven Erasmus Mundus External Cooperation Window program Triple I. University of Latvia is one of the partners.

Triple I has launched a Call for Applications for exchange studies starting in spring 2011. Scholarships (starting from 1000 EUR per month) are available for undergraduate, masters, doctorate, post-doctorate and academic staff mobilities. Duration of the exchange period can vary from one semester to 34 months. Master’s degree programme EDUCATIONAL TREATMENT OF DIVERSITY To be eligible, undergraduate and master as well as doctoral and postdoctorate candidates:
  1. Must be a national of Russian Federation;
  2. Must have not resided nor have carried out their main activity (studies, work ect) for more than a total of 12 months over the last five years in one of the European countries;
  3. For target group 1: students need to be registered at one of the Russian HEIs within the partnership (see bellow the list of Russian HEIs). Undergraduate students must have successfully completed at least one year of studies in their home institution;
  4. For target group 2: students need either to be registered in a Russian HEI (not included in the partnership) or having obtained a university degree equivalent by a Russian institution. They will need to justify how this study period abroad will benefit them (and their direct socio-economical environment);
  5. For target group 3: students need to be nationals of Russian Federation and be part of the vulnerable target groups;
  6. Must have sufficient knowledge of the language of the courses or one of the languages currently spoken in the hosting country.
