The Latvian Transatlantic Organisation (LATO) and NATO Public diplomacy division with support of Konrad Adenauer-Stiftung welcomes you to the discussion on cyber security entitled „Cyber Security Trends and Challenges: Latvian and Estonian Perspective” The discussion will take place on February 29, 16.30 – 18.00, Isaiah Berlin Auditorium at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Latvia, Lomonosova street 1a. The working language of the discussion will be English.
Cyber security is perceived as one of the biggest emerging security challenges, but still there are a lot of questions unclear. To raise awareness, improve knowledge and bring cyber-security issues to public attention, LATO is organizing this discussion. Discussion will feature two experts: Māris Andžāns, Head of the Consultative Council on Security of Electronic Communications and IT, and Luukas Kristjan Ilves, Cyber Expert from Estonian Information System’s Authority. Moderator of the discussion: Ilmārs Poikāns, Researcher at the Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science, University of Latvia.
