Travelling “Yad Vashem” exhibition “No Child's Play. Children in the Holocaust: Creativity and Play” (organized by the Embassy of Israel in Latvia in cooperation with the ICEJ Latvia), was exhibited in the main building of the University of Latvia from January 27 to February 4, 2014. Exhibition reflects the world of children during the Shoah. Unlike other Holocaust exhibitions, which focus on history, statistics or descriptions of physical violence, it contains toys, games, artwork, diaries, and poems that highlight some of the personal stories of the children, providing a glimpse into their lives during the Holocaust.
At CJS photographical materials about the activities and history of youth organization of religious Zionists Hashomer Hadati Bnei Akiva are available. The collection is prepared by Eva Sinkevica.
